This weekend marks the first two consecutive days we’ve had with no activity or obligations on our schedule since school ended for the kids, and man it feels good!
I wanted to round up some fun, lighthearted things that I’ve bought and loved, or that are making me smile, and share them. My exhausted brain can’t crank out any complicated thoughts or sentences at the moment, but shopping? Shopping we can do. 😉
Jump on the Flare Jeans Trend for Under $65
This deal is going to expire soon, so hop on it! If you’ve been wanting to try a flare jean (not super flared, just slightly), this pair of jeans from Gap is under $65 and is so cute.
I wore mine for the first time last night with a white linen tank and some cute ballet flats (also under $60!), and it was the perfect casual date night outfit. The jeans have the perfect amount of stretch too, and they’re high-waisted. Super comfy and cute!
More on the linen tank I’m wearing above: It’s from Show Me Your Mumu and I got it for our trip to Italy last year. Since then I’ve worn it dozens of times, with so many different bottoms. It’s a total investment piece, for just $88! (I even wash mine and it has remained in great shape; just make sure to wash on gentle on cool, and lay flat or hang to dry.)
And back to Gap for a second: Don’t sleep on the amazing sale they’re having right now! Everything is up to 30% off right now. I recently got this red linen maxi skirt with the matching red top, and it’s gorgeous in person. And you know I’m a huge fan of an oversized denim jacket—this one is around $60 with the applied discount!

The Ultimate Sleep Spray
As I’ve been raving about on Instagram, this magnesium spray will give you the best night’s sleep. I show you how to use it in this Reel, but basically you spray twice on each foot at bedtime, let it soak in… and wait for the sleep fairy to come.
I usually start feeling tired anywhere from 15-30 minutes after spraying my feet, and from there it’s sweet dreams, baby.
I can’t recommend it enough, and have told so many of my friends about this already. If you’re wanting to get away from melatonin or any other medication or supplement, try this!
Dance Mom Things
One of the first things people always ask when I say my daughter is a competitive dancer is, Are the moms as bad as they are on Dance Moms?!
And my answer is always a resounding no. In fact, in the four years my daughter has been in this world, I’ve met the most supportive, kind and funny friends I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful for my dance mom community. This past week, I threw our first Dance Moms Party to mark the end of the regular competition season, in honor of all the work we do to keep our girls and boys killing it on stage. And boy is there a lot—from quick costume changes to makeup to being the emotional scapegoat for routines that don’t go well, we go through a lot. It was such a blast to host a party celebrating the hard work we put in as moms, and to enjoy some kid-free time with these women I’ve come to call great friends.

Last newsletter I told you about an amazing tinted SPF from Cerave that outperforms one I used to buy from a famous doctor for over $100 (!!!), so if you haven’t yet checked it out, run don’t walk to get yours! It’s under $14 and every bit as good—maybe better—than the expensive one.
Speaking of SPF, summer is here and you can’t have enough for travel and for home.
I just snagged this kit from Dermstore that has over 8 SPF products in it—three of them full-size—for just $56! I highly recommend it if you’re looking to find a formula you love.
The standout products for me so far are the tinted mineral Elta MD and the Glytone. Both of these are full-size in the kit.
